Beverly

Beverly Lumbres Caimen, born June 20, 1994[1] also called Beverly, is a Filipino pop artist based in Japan under the Avex Trax. Her numerous appearances on soundtracks include "Be the One" from Kamen Rider Build and "Koko" from Pokemon the Movie Secrets of the Jungle. Beverly Caimen, the third of three children to Ramon Vega Caimen, Leticia Valdez Lumbres and Leticia Caimen was born on 20th June 1994 in Calamba (Laguna, Philippines). She was the youngest of three siblings, with two sisters and a brother. Beverly began singing at the age of five when her mother took Beverly to school. She discovered that she was gifted and she was able to sing. She joined her school's choir at the age of 7 and began singing lessons at the age of 9 when her mother found time. At this point, she entered her first singing competition, however, she was not able to win. Her mother encouraged her to keep trying, as she felt she needed to gain more experience. Batangas State University gave her a B.S. in Psychology. Beverly began singing in competitions for amateurs to chase her dreams. She won first prize at the World Championships of Performing Arts. She recorded music under GMA Records with composer Vehnee. Beverly Caimen was her first and final album for GMA. Beverly was nominated for the Best Performance at the Awit Awards and received the Harvest of Honors award of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. She was also awarded the A Song of Praise Music Festival Year-long prize for the best Performance.
