Paula Patton, an American actor and producer, is well-known for her role as the lead in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol (an action thriller) and Precious (a drama). At the age of a girl she was raised in the Los Angeles middle-class household. Her mother loved films and instilled the love of movies in the young girl. Paula took part in school co-curricular activities and was particularly interested in acting. Paula loved acting with friends as well as participating in school productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School's Hamilton Magnet Arts High School was the scene of many school plays. She decided to become an actor. She went to an acting program at the University of Southern California for a Summer Program and loved the experience. The program awarded her a 3-month contract making documentaries for PBS. She started as production assistant for television documentaries, after completing her assignment. In the following years, she transitioned to producing documentaries. While she enjoyed the work, she wanted to become an actor. The path to acting began when she had a minor role alongside Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. Over the past few years, she's appeared in many films and television shows.
